Oslo Coffee Co is Bringing a Sustainable Cafe to Ladera Ranch

Drawing on their Norwegian heritage, owners Lauren and Jason want customers to ‘share where you come from, and celebrate where you are in the moment.’

Oslo Coffee Company, a family-owned and operated cafe from residents Lauren and Jason, is set to open at 25612 Crown Valley Pkwy in Ladera Ranch’s Mercantile West shopping center, sometime between fall and winter of this year, Lauren tells What Now Orange County. 

The cafe’s menu of classic espresso drinks such as lattes, americanos, and cappuccinos will be made with oat milk, making good on the couple’s hopes of moving towards a dairy-free and meat-free model, so as to be a “pioneer in the sustainability movement as a brand.” 

Likewise, its menu with lean towards meat-free and plant-based options, with a signature Lefse offering, or Norwegian flatbread that can be “dressed up in a host of ways,” explains Lauren, who adds, “We hope to partner with a San Diego-based vegan baker for all of our baked goods.”  

“We focus on partnering with local and global coffee purveyors and deliver quality in every cup, resulting in a specialty local coffee experience served up with a smile,” the couple writes on Oslo Coffee Co’s official website. “Our aim is to encourage you to celebrate the little moments in life, be kind, have fun, and drink good coffee!”
