Kikko Ramen & Poke will soon begin construction on a San Marcos location, according to recent public records. The restaurant will be found at 403 N Guadalupe Street, right in the center of the city’s growing downtown. It will be the third location of the brand, with the other stores located in Victoria and Beaumont, Texas.
“We take pride in what we serve,” the brand states on their official website. “Our ingredients are always fresh because we believe freshness delivers better flavors. We believe in customizing your meal the way you like it. There are well over 10 different toppings you can choose to add onto your ramen and poke salad.”
If the San Marcos location mimics its predecessors, readers can expect a classic serving of ramen, poke, bento boxes, and other classic pan-Asian dishes.
The public records in question project a September 15th start date for the construction, which will “remodel existing restaurant to be a new restaurant”, covering around 2,177 square feet. The project is estimated to wrap up by April 2024 and cost a total of $150,000.
