Out with the old, as they say. Another update and upgrade in the world of craft beer, this time in Little Italy. A new ABC license application places Thr3e Punk Ales at the former site of Mikkeller Brewing’s Little Italy tasting room, which closed earlier this year when the brand dissolved its San Diego footprint.

A staple on Chula Vista’s Third Street, the brewery has posed a self-proclaimed minor threat to the local beer scene since 2014 while debuting its flagship taproom in 2017.

Co-founders John Marshall, Kevin Lewis, and Steve Garcia expertly blend San Diego-inspired craft beer with classic punk rock and a splash of Mexican culture for its brand image and taproom aesthetic.

Thr3e Punk Ales’ signature brews include Emo Brown Imperial Brown Ale, La Flama Blanca Lager, This Charming Stout, and Needle in the Hey! Double IPA, to name just a few.

An opening date for Thr3e Punk Ales in Little Italy has not been announced yet. Stay updated on Thr3e Punk Ales by following their Instagram
