According to a recent report in OBJ, the Disney Springs restaurant Terralina Crafted Italian (owned by Levy Restaurants) will now be under the new culinary leadership of Executive Chef Claudio Daggio.

“Chef Claudio Daggio’s culinary interests stem from the multicultural kitchens of his Italian-Mexican family,” OBJ states.

“Born in Mexico City, he relocated with his family to Orlando in September 2000. He studied at the Mid-Florida Campus Culinary Program, which is part of Orange Technical College.”

While Daggio does not foresee “drastic changes” for Terralina, he intends to implement two significant changes – cooking classes and menu tweaks – that could capitalize on the restaurant’s rising popularity.

“This week I’ll teach a risotto-making class for everyone interested in a fun, educational cooking experience and I hope to do more of these in the future,” Daggio told OBJ

“Through these classes, I look forward to interacting with our guests and receiving feedback on our menu so we can always be evolving and staying relevant and welcoming to new and returning customers.”

In regards to menu changes, Daggio assured that they would be minor.

“Terralina is known for its rustic Italian eats and fresh ingredients, and I want to continue bringing that to the table, while also providing an elevated selection of delicious new specials each month,” said Daggio, without articulating what the specials may be or what behind-the-scenes shifts would correspond with such changes.

“With Italian being a very popular cuisine, it’s important to us to provide an approachable menu for all guests to enjoy,” said Daggio.
