Leona Botanical Cafe & Bar, a new concept by the owners of Veracruz All Natural and Dee Dee, will soon come to Sunset Valley, according to the official website.
“Situated on 5-acres in Sunset Valley in South Austin, we’re a botanical café and bar coming in early 2025.”
“We will feature three new restaurants including beloved local restaurants DEE DEE – Country Style Thai and Veracruz All Natural. Our unique beverage program will feature coffee, cocktails and specialty drinks highlighting the cultures of Thailand and Mexico while utilizing fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.”

While Veracruz and Dee Dee are well-known local restaurants, little is known about the upcoming Leona.
“Our goal with this project is to create a beautiful space that stays true to our cultures and highlights our upbringings by sharing the traditions we learned from our mothers and grandmothers. We want people to experience a part of our homes,” Lakana Trubiana of Dee Dee said.
“I have so much respect and appreciation for all the hard work that Reyna and Maritza have put into creating Veracruz All Natural. It’s inspiring to work with like-minded entrepreneurs with similar backgrounds, and I’m thrilled to open this new vision of ours together.”
No opening date has been announced.
