North Italia is set to be one of the new tenants at Brea Mall as part of the multimillion-dollar revitalization project. The chain will be taking over a space at 1500 Brea Mall, Ste 1500, records from the county show.
Plans filed with the Orange County Health Care Agency’s Environmental Health Division reveal the eatery is seeking to build a new construction property between 6,000 and 29,999 square feet.
North Italia is celebrated for its classic offerings of pasta and pizza, serving lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. The eatery was founded by Fox Restaurant Concepts and is now owned by Cheesecake Factory Inc., and there are now almost three dozen locations in the U.S.
The Brea Mall is being redeveloped by Simon, with new restaurant and retail spaces as well as apartments being added and an outdoor streetscape. While waiting for this location to open, patrons can check out the nearby North Italia locations in Irvine or Torrance.
