Denver folks aiming for a filling, energetic quick lunch can celebrate the continued expansion of Rush Bowls. Opening at the end of February, the 1,250-square-foot location will bring a “bright and bold aesthetic” to 1580 Blake St. downtown (per 303 Magazine). CEO Andrew Pudalov told What Now Denver to watch for grand opening festivities coming soon.

Later on in the year (with no definitive opening date yet), Rush Bowls will proffer a plethora of customizable bowls and smoothies to denizens further northwest in the city, per a lease just signed at 8031 Wadsworth Blvd.

Born in Boulder in 2004, Pudalov left a New York City finance career to “pioneer the acai (and other) bowl market” (per the Rush Bowls story). Since then, the company has gone national, serving up, creamy, all-natural, power-packed meals served in rounded dishes. Customers can wield straws and spoons to scoop up a variety of healthy, delicious mixes like the Beach Bowl — acai, banana, guava juice, mango, honey, and hemp oats or the Green Rx smoothie with a whip of leafy greens, avocado, pineapple, mango, matcha, coconut milk, and guava juice.

According to the company, Rush Bowls is not only devoted to nutritious ingredients that uplift bodies, but to “a respectful kinship with the Earth.” For fans of fast casual food that aims to boost instead of bringing them down, Rush Bowls provides an inexpensive fast option in a clean, popping setting. Keep an eye out for new stores coming soon.
