Starbucks wants to do a significant overhaul of the Mission Viejo store located at 24012 Alicia Parkway, county records show. It’s the latest of a string of the corporation’s locations undergoing changes.

In February, an application was submitted to the Orange County Health Care Agency’s Environmental Health Division for the project. The plans for the food remodel were marked as “unable to approve” earlier this month, however, meaning Starbucks will need to modify them.

Operating hours for the Mission Viejo Starbucks are 4:30 AM to 6:30 PM Monday through Saturday and 5 AM to 6 PM on Sundays. The location, which is in a shopping plaza at the intersection of Alicia Parkway and Jeronimo, does not feature a drive-thru.

Starbucks has been steadfast in its goal to renovate many of its U.S. stores lately. Other locations have been modified to have expanded cold bars, large convection ovens for freshly baked pastries, and enhancements to pick-up counters.
