Per a permit on file with the city, Crisp & Green will soon be going in at 414 Milam St #101 by way of Franchisee Johnny Vassallo.
Crisp & Green was Co-Founded by Steele Smiley and Lily Smith under the Steele Brands umbrella. The restaurant’s menu is “chef-crafted and scratch made” and they are passionate about the community around them. Smith told What Now Houston, “Wellness and fitness are largely integrated into the model.” At each location on every second Saturday, a wellness event is hosted to include some sort of class and a Crisp & Green “treat” afterward.
Smith excitedly told us that they are about to open up in their 13th state here in about a week. Each franchise is molded after the original concept, but corporate works hand-in-hand to ensure the same quality is provided while allowing the franchisee’s bring in their community flair. The brand also invites local artists and muralists to customize each location to give it its own feel while providing a consistent menu.
A spokesperson for Vassallo broke the news that there will be many more locations franchised in the Houston area to come also. “We’re so excited to open these up,” they said.
Expected opening for this location is mid-Summer 2023.
