Chipotle Mexican Grill is planning to open a new restaurant in San Bernardino, the city’s website shows. The upcoming establishment will be located at the intersection of 5th St. and G St., on the northeast corner.

This new location is strategically positioned in a developing center that is bringing a plethora of new retail and dining businesses to the city. It was approved by the city’s planning commission in March.

Records show the facility will be a 2,325-square-foot restaurant with a drive-thru. It’s down the street from several other new retailers that have recently opened at the commercial site, including 7/11 and Starbucks.

Chipotle’s variety of options includes burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, and salads, with proteins like chicken, pork carnitas, barbacoa, steak, and vegetarian choices. Food is always fresh and prepared on-site in front of customers, ensuring a high-quality yet quick meal.
