Popular mini-mart concept Choice Market is building a new location in the ground-floor space of the posh Edit at River North apartment complex. The grocery company filed paperwork for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades at the 3463 Walnut St. property, city records show.

The timeline on when the store will be open is unclear, but representatives for Edit told What Now Denver that construction is underway and it will be several months before they welcome shoppers.

With 13 floors and more than 360 apartments, the Edit building offers a place with a built-in customer base for Choice Market. There is also a booming amount of construction happening in the neighborhood all over RiNo.

Since its founding in 2017, several Choice Markets have popped up around the metro area. This will be the sixth location of the local brand, which prides itself on offering convenient access to sustainable food from local vendors.
