Known for its island-inspired cuisine, Ono Hawaiian BBQ is set to open a new location at the intersection of La Sierra Ave and Magnolia Ave in Riverside. This addition marks another milestone for the growing fast-casual chain and will be its fourth store within the city limits.

Ono Hawaiian BBQ has been serving “Aloha in every bite” since 2002. Led by CEO Joshua Liang, the company has grown to over 100 locations across California and Arizona.

“Ono” is a Hawaiian term meaning something pleasing or enjoyable. The brand has Plate Lunches: proteins like chicken katsu, kalua pork, and teriyaki beef, accompanied by rice, macaroni salad, and steamed vegetables. Mini meals and family meals are also available for purchase.

There are three existing Ono Hawaiian BBQ locations in Riverside. Two are further east down the 91 freeway, and another is off the 60 freeway. The company has been on an aggressive expansion strategy lately in the Inland Empire.
