Amalfi Cucina Italiana, a local Italian eatery in San Marcos and Carmel Valley, is preparing to open a new location in Oceanside at 221 North Cleveland Ave.

The company’s third location is set to move into the former home of Orfila Vineyards Tasting Room & Kitchen, which was purchased earlier this year by the daughter of the co-founder and president of Pacifica Enterprises Investments, according to SanDiegoVille. The Rancho Santa Fe-based real estate investment firm currently has the Amalfi Cucina team operating the restaurant through the summer. The team will eventually rebrand into a third location of Amalfi Cucina Italiana, expected to open in Fall 2024.

Amalfi Cucina Italiana currently has a location in San Marcos, with a Marina Bar, as well as an Enoteca in the same area, plus its Carmel Valley location. When the new Oceanside location opens, customers can expect exquisite pizzas, pasta, and seafood masterfully created by globally renowned chefs. The kitchen is led by co-founder and executive chef Marcello Avitabile and co-owner / pizza chef Joseph Serra. General managers include Giuseppe Annunziata and Emiliano Muslija.

“At Amalfi Cucina Italiana, we proudly feature a stunning golden wood fire oven crafted in Italy,” according to the company’s website. “This exquisite oven not only adds beauty to our restaurant but also creates the most amazing pizzas, with perfectly crisp crusts and authentic, mouthwatering flavors. Our chefs use this traditional method to bring you an unforgettable dining experience, capturing the essence of Italian cuisine. Join us for a meal and taste the difference that our wood fire oven makes in every bite.”
