Mega-mart chain Buc-ee’s, which is a favorite for travelers because of its fresh food offerings in the store, is coming to the Centennial State. The company is building a huge property in Johnstown at 5201 Nugget Rd, 9News reports.
Construction has been ongoing for almost a year, the station said. There are massive plans for the site, at the intersection of I-25 and County Road 48: a whopping 74,000-square-foot property with 116 fueling stations. It is set to open for business next year.
Buc-ee’s have cooks onsite preparing a variety of hot foods for travelers who are stretching their legs and getting gas. The store makes fresh pastrami reubens, tacos, bar-b-q, kolaches, and more.
K99 reports that the company is hiring for positions at the upcoming location. Buc-ee’s is looking for night managers, assistant general managers, and deli/food service managers.
This sounds like a perfect fit for the BOOMING Falcon, CO area, right along highway 24. We have a huge trucker’s roost in the Circle K parking lot, and they all are looking for something other than Safeway’s deli or McDonald’s. Please consider Falcon, CO.
Unfortunately Buc ee’s does not allow truckers. They should rethink that policy.
