The bakers behind Gold Star Pies are getting a permanent space at Ivywild School to expand the business. Their new concept Gold Star Bakery is coming soon to the converted Colorado Springs food hall, located at 1604 S Cascade Ave., according to Springs Mag

With pies, cookies, and other baked goodies available, the brand is sure to be a hit at the Blue Star Group-owned property. Ivywild School is a communal gathering space of food and art, located in a 100-year-old former elementary school building.

Other cuisine-centered tenants at Ivywild School include Ivywild Kitchen, Bristol’s Spark Beer + BBQ, Decent Pizza Co., Lazo Empanadas, and Salad or Bust. There is seating scattered throughout the historic property, as well as plenty of tables outside in dog-friendly areas.

The menu will feature yummy classics from Gold Star Pies, like Tart Cherry, Dutch Apple, and Blueberry Cobble. Since 2016, the locally-owned company has offered sweets at community events, weddings, and other catered occasions.
