A new pet facility called Skiptown is coming to town at 3833 Steele St. The business has a cocktail and coffee bar along with a dog park, grooming, training, boarding, daycare, and walking services.
The company will be moving into a 21,000-square-foot space at York Street Yards, according to a Business Den article. At the location, Skiptown will host monthly adoption days to help rescue doggies find new families.
Skiptown is a company founded in North Carolina that offers memberships as well as daily and monthly passes. Up to four dogs from the same household can be on one membership. All pets have to be registered on the brand’s app and have updated vet records uploaded.
The business has raised $28 million in funds to increase its presence across the country. Skiptown is also expanding in cities like Atlanta, Dallas, Nashville, Houston, Columbus, and Washington, D.C.
