Xperience Bar and Lounge LLC has filed paperwork for a new restaurant at 401 Eighth Avenue in East Village.

The bar and restaurant space, co-owned by Ajay Sarin, Anita Khanna, Sarbit Badwal and Charanjeet Badwal, will have 74 tables and will seat 173. The ground-floor establishment will also feature a stand-up bar that will seat 39.

Xperience plans to stay open late, with hours until 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and 1 a.m. on other days. It also plans to have DJs as well as recorded music, and it will host private events, according to the paperwork.

The menu appears to be protein-based, centered around large meats. Appetizers will include calamari fritti, crab cakes, scallops and burrata flatbread. The menu will offer several steak options, including cowboy ribeye and porterhouse steaks, and entrees such as stuffed lobster, Chilean sea bass and grilled lamb chops.

Sides will include lobster mac and cheese and cream corn, and the limited dessert menu will offer items such as fried cheesecake and nutella flatbreads with chocolate ganache.

It is unclear at this time when Xperience will open.
