Celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor plans to debut a new The Yellow Chilli outpost at 1512 N. Main Street in Walnut Creek — near establishments such as Oyama Sushi, Plearn Thai Palace, and The Library Social Club.

For readers who are unfamiliar with The Yellow Chilli, the concept first opened in Silicon Valley five years ago and has since expanded to Danville, Fremont, Modesto, Oakland, San Jose, and Stockton under the supervision of Co-Owner Shivraj Sidhu.

Known for offering a diverse selection of Indian food, some of the restaurant’s most popular plates include Butter Chicken, Tandoori Lamb Chops, and Paneer Tikka Masala.

What Now San Francisco contacted Sidhu to inquire about a potential opening date, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Stay tuned for updates.
