Jersey Mike’s, the national sandwich chain with more than 2,700 stores nationwide, is preparing to finish the year strong in Arizona, with at least 12 locations planned for the state.
Jersey Mike’s is undergoing a massive expansion plan across the country, with nearly 300 locations planned to open by the end of the year. Arizona is no exception. While the company already has 76 locations in the state, 13 more are scheduled to open this year, according to Finance Buzz. In Maricopa County, the chain has plans to open new locations in Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Goodyear, Mesa, and Peoria. There’s no timeline for these openings, but they’re expected to open by year-end, possibly early next year.
The greater Phoenix area has nine locations coming soon. These sites include 5055 W. Ray Road in Chandler, in the former home of H&W Massage within the Harmon Ranch Plaza. Jersey Mike’s plans to open two locations in Gilbert, one located on the Northwest corner of Elliot and Power Road and another on the Northwest corner of Val Vista Road and Germann Road. In Glendale, the company will open a location at 6530 W. Happy Valley Road, Suite B116, in the former home of Macshack and O2 Juice Bar and Spa. Goodyear will see a new Jersey Mike’s open at the Northeast corner of Lon Adams Road and Tangerine Road.
Mesa and Peoria both have two locations coming to their parts of town. The former will have a new site coming to the corner of Power Road and 202 Freeway in Gallery Park, with another location coming to 9317 E. Ray Road. Last, but not least, Jersey Mike’s plans to open locations in Peoria at the Southeast corner of El Mirage Road and Lone Mountain Parkway, as well as 8378 W. Thunderbird Road, Suite B-105, in the Thunderbird Beltway Plaza. Further away from Phoenix, the company plans two locations in Tucson, one in Flagstaff, and one in Marana.
