RFR announced that White Cube, a contemporary art gallery, has committed to 3,122 square feet of space at 980 Madison. The space will be used for executive offices and private gallery showings.
Located in Manhattan’s Upper East Side neighborhood, 980 Madison Avenue is a 100,000-square-foot limestone block-front landmark building originally built in 1949 as the headquarters of Parke-Bernet Galleries. Today, it continues to house the finest art galleries including Gagosian Gallery, Robilant + Voena, Edward Tyler Nahem, Nahmad Contemporary, and Dickinson & Yoshi Gallery. AJ Camhi and Ryan Silverman of RFR represented ownership in the transaction.

Art Dealer Jay Jopling founded White Cube in 1993 in London’s East End and represents multiple artists. White Cube has locations in London, Paris, Hong Kong and West Palm Beach and will soon open a new gallery at 1002 Madison Avenue.
