We Vino, a woman-owned restaurant helmed by business partners Kathy Panchenko, Diana Brigitt and Liliya Bezinover, will be coming to Westlake Village by the start of this summer. The concept will feature an extensive wine collection with an emphasis on wine pairings and wine education.
“We look forward to being a place for the locals, as well as a destination restaurant,” Panchenko said in an email.
We Vino will offer hundreds of wines by the glass, and guests will be able to try the wines by the ounce. The menu, crafted by Executive Chef Edward Brik, focuses on small plates and wine pairings with dishes like caviar pasta, truffle salmon carpaccio, lobster risotto, bone marrow, signature dishes and rotating seasonal selections.
“There will be a private room for 60 or so guests to enjoy the chef’s tasting menu or preset menu of their choice. We will host private events, wine events, and other social gatherings to bring together the community,” added Panchenko.
“The idea behind the concept is an elevated wine and food experience – somewhere you can go for an upscale, casual lunch with your girlfriends, a lunch business meeting, or date night.”
Panchenko and Brigitt also co-own Carvery Kitchen, a deli in Pico Robertson focused on from-scratch meals made with the freshest ingredients.
