Carlos Rodriguez, the creator behind the popular Refresqueria brand, is expanding his fruity and refreshing empire with an exciting new venture—My Refresqueria, set to open at 3511 Fountain View Dr Suite B. Slated to be the next big thing in the local treat scene, this expansion will feature a fresh new take on the brand that loyal customers know and love. It is promising a revamped experience for fans of fruit bowls, ice cream, and more.

The name “My Refresqueria” isn’t just a branding tweak—it signals a broader vision for the future. Rodriguez shared that this new location will feature minor updates, including enhanced flavors, an updated logo, and a fresh look that elevates the original concept.

According to Rodriguez, My Refresqueria is just the beginning of a larger plan to unify all locations under one brand. While the two existing Refresqueria shops will continue to serve loyal patrons, they will eventually transition to the new name and identity. Once operational, My Refresqueria will also have its own dedicated website and social media platforms, designed to engage with customers in more dynamic and creative ways.

From a construction standpoint, this new build-out represents a significant investment. Permits detail an estimated cost of $205,000 for the fruit and ice cream shop’s 2,050-square-foot interior. With Rodriguez’s track record and commitment to evolving the brand, My Refresqueria is shaping up to be a standout destination in Houston’s dessert scene.

Rodriguez confirmed that My Refresqueria will open no later than Spring 2025.
