Waqus Khasawneh, a seasoned restaurateur from Ohio, is set to introduce his new Mediterranean concept, Olive Branch Mediterranean, at 1019 Dairy Ashford Rd Suite B. Known for his dedication to fresh, from-scratch cooking, Khasawneh is excited to bring his home-style Mediterranean dishes to a new audience.
“We make everything fresh and from scratch,” Khasawneh shared, describing the essence of his small family-run business. He wants his customers to feel like they’re getting a home-cooked meal with every visit. Each item on the menu will be designed to bring authentic Mediterranean flavors with a personal touch from him.
Having recently moved to Houston from Ohio, where he successfully operated several restaurants before selling them, Khasawneh is eager to establish a new culinary legacy in the city. With years of experience and a passion for Mediterranean cuisine, he is confident that Olive Branch Mediterranean will be a welcomed addition to Houston’s diverse food scene.

The restaurant, which is scheduled to open in the first half of November 2024, marks Khasawneh’s first culinary venture in Houston.
