A new culinary duo is making its way to Pasadena with the upcoming opening of Fat Boy’s Pizza x Savvy Sliders at 3803 Spencer Hwy. This co-branded location promises to deliver a unique dining experience, combining the best of both worlds—gigantic slices of pizza and gourmet sliders—all under one roof. The partnership between the two brands was confirmed by Brandon Wigglesworth, Operating Partner at Fat Boy’s Pizza, marking another step in the brands’ growing collaboration.
The inspiration for this bold union came when the two owners, Gabe Corchiani of Fat Boy’s Pizza and Happy Asker of Savvy Sliders, recognized striking similarities between their brands and shared values. “Both Asker and Corchiani are very family oriented in their personal lives as well as how they do business,” explained a representative.
This will not be the first location to showcase the dynamic duo. The brands debuted their co-branded concept in Metairie, LA, in August 2024, and followed up quickly with another location in Covington, LA, in October 2024. Now, they have set their sights on Texas, with plans to expand into Richmond, Katy, and Pasadena. Pasadena’s location will take over the former James Coney Island, giving the site new life as a haven for pizza and slider lovers.
Patrons can expect an enhanced experience where they can enjoy both menus. From Fat Boy’s massive pizza slices to Savvy Sliders’ juicy burgers and crispy chicken tenders, there’s something for everyone—even the pickiest of eaters. The dual-branded location allows guests to mix and match items from both menus, offering endless meal possibilities perfect for families and groups.
