Union Station’s New Elevated Dessert Experience

Union Station in Denver is excitedly gearing up for the opening of Baumé, a dessert bar featuring European-inspired treats and a curated Champagne list. According to New Denizen, the concept will be the latest to join the Great Hall at 1701 Wynkoop St.

This venue is under the direction of Chef Kevin McCormick, who has worked at at Michelin-starred establishments, a press release states. He has a background in pastries and is excited to bring the cuisine to the historic transportation center. 

“I’m very excited. We have a very excited team, and we think this will be a unique opportunity for people to really be able to enjoy something a little different,” he told What Now Denver.

McCormick stated it will be open from 11 AM to 10 PM every day, with the retail counter full service available every day and full service offered Wednesday through Sunday, catering to the date-night crowd. The space will feature an immaculate display of desserts and a dine-in area with around 20 seats available.
