A new culinary adventure is brewing at 23660 Westheimer Parkway #660c in Katy, Texas. Trophy Tea Cafe, a novel concept that aims to blend the flavors of boba tea and poke bowls, is setting up its roots. Co-owned by Yanjun Hao, along with his wife and a third partner, the cafe is currently in the early stages of brand development.
Permitting processes are underway, as confirmed by Hao in a recent interview. With a keen eye on launching a unique dining experience, the team is cautiously optimistic about the progress. He shared that they are in the preliminary phase still, so no website or socials are available as of now also. The permit on file with the state outlines a detailed plan for a lease build-out, encompassing construction, electricity, and plumbing for a 1,256 square foot fast-casual cafe.
While specific details about the menu and cafe’s interior are under wraps, the concept promises a fresh take on fast-casual dining. Combining the popularity of boba tea with the healthy, customizable options of poke bowls, Trophy Tea Cafe aims to cater to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences.
The timeline for Trophy Tea Cafe is set, with the project start in December 2023, and an estimated completion date of March 2024. This timeline suggests that Katy residents and visitors can hopefully indulge in the fusion of boba and poke by early spring next year.
