Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment and Egan Escape Productions are joining forces to bring Escape IT, a new “IT”-themed escape room experience, to Las Vegas this fall.

“‘IT’ is one of our most iconic horror film franchises and we cannot wait for fans to be able to come face-to-face with the infamous Pennywise and the town of Derry in a way they’ve never experienced before,” Peter van Roden, Senior Vice President of Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment, said in a press release. “We’re thrilled to work with Egan Escape Productions as they are experts in the space bringing complexity and attention to every detail to help bring our immersive horror experiences to the next level.”

Occupying a space of more than 30,000 sq. ft., Escape IT will offer two different multi-room escape adventures based on the “IT,” the highest-grossing horror film ever, and “IT Chapter Two.” It will comprise more than 20 interactive rooms populated with cutting-edge special effects, lighting, animatronics, and live actors, creating an immersive experience not for the faint of heart.

Guests will work together to navigate iconic locations from the films, trying to escape the terrifying dancing clown Perrywise in settings like Neibolt House, the Losers’ Clubhouse, and the Derry Canal Days Festival.

“Having the opportunity to work with one of the most iconic and terrifying characters of all time has been a phenomenal venture,” Jason Egan, owner of Egan Escape Productions, said in the press release. “It’s an honor to have Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment trust us with their brand and to bring this beloved franchise to life here in the amazing city of Las Vegas.”

Located 5 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, Escape IT will also include a full IT-themed retail store with photo ops and exclusive custom merchandise. Private VIP Experience tickets, plus birthday, bachelor/bachelorette-party, team-building, and other packages will be available once ticket sales begin.
