Indoor driving range Onyx Golf has big plans in Lake Forest. Owner Jonathan Lee tells What Now Orange County that the team hopes to have construction completed and doors open at 20996 Bake Parkway, Suites 100 to 106 sometime in March, 2023.

The 7,300-square-foot complex will feature ten driving bays, including some designated as VIP bays, that offer a wider space. The bays will also all be equipped with Trackman screens that provide golfers with visual feedback on their shots for a variety of course layouts. Onyx Golf Vice President of Operations, Julien Heine, says the facility will be the largest of its kind in Southern California.

Golfers of all ages and levels can book time at Onyx by the hour. Membership options will also be available for players looking to regularly use the facility.

Onyx Golf will also have a cafe for golfers needing to refuel. In partnership with Kean Coffee of Newport Beach, Heine says the cafe will feature “sandwiches and salads,” along with coffee and a variety of sports drinks.
