A new location of Boiling Point is on the way to Anaheim. While an opening date remains to be seen, the restaurant will be coming to 321 W Katella Ave, Suite 468, at The Garden Walk, sometime in the new year.

The concept, which was founded in 2004 in Hacienda Heights, currently operates thirteen California locations, as well as outposts in Washington State, Canada, and Japan, is helmed by CEO Calvin Chang, who previously spent a decade as director of business development for the brand before ascending to CEO status in 2020.

Boiling Point, as the name might suggest, specializes in soup. Specifically Taiwanese style broths augmented with a fermented tofu known, colloquially, as “stinky tofu.” But diners should not be dissuade by the name. These soups are flavor packed and can be augment with a bevy of add ons, including spice levels, and a variety of meats. The menu also includes a tight selection of sichuan inflected shareable small plates.

Boiling Point will be in good company at the Anaheim Garden walk, a property that features dozens of dining, shopping, and entertainment destinations, including a few forthcoming locations that What Now Orange County will continue to report on.
