Oumi Sushi, a division of the renowned Hissho Sushi, is gearing up to add a fresh sushi and salad bar at the Brea Sprouts Farmers Market. The brand has filed permits for a project at the 735 E Birch St. location, documents show.

Plans were filed with the Orange County Health Care Agency’s Environmental Health Division in early February. Sprouts has added Oumi Sushi locations in several nearby stores: West Covina, El Cajon, Simi Valley, and Carlsbad.

The addition of Oumi Sushi will allow shoppers to indulge in made-to-order sushi rolls, poke bowls, and hot entrees. The concept offers a Wednesday special offering select rolls at $5, with favorites on the menu like California Rolls, Krispy Krab Rolls, and Sriracha Party Rolls.

Oumi Sushi is a division of Hissho Sushi, a corporation based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The brand has over 25 years of experience committed to premium, responsibly sourced seafood, and hosts over 2,200 locations.
