Fontana’s In-N-Out Burger, located at 9855 Sierra Ave., is temporarily closed for a comprehensive makeover, the SB Sun reports. The business is undergoing construction work right now to help make operations more streamlined.

The project consists of significant exterior enhancements, as well as interior improvements, for an all-around upgraded dining experience. The sidewalk, parking lot, and landscaping will be redesigned. Work at the site commenced in mid-January.

The goal is to rejuvenate one of In-N-Out’s oldest establishments; the Fontana store dates back to 1979. It is the twenty-second location QSR the brand opened.

While it is currently the only one in the city, another has been approved for construction about five miles north of this location. Another nearby store is in Rialto.
