Chick-fil-A is preparing to open at 4312 N. Varsity Ave. in San Bernardino, reports from Dine 909 say. The company’s new store is in the works and should welcome guests by the year’s end.

The brand told What Now OC that, pending any delays, the store will open sometime this fall. It will be managed by Josiah Brown and create 80-120 jobs and career opportunities in the community.

“Local Owner-Operator Josiah Brown is excited to begin serving Guests delicious food in an environment of genuine hospitality, providing fulfilling career opportunities for Team Members and giving back to the community through various partnerships. We look forward to serving the San Bernardino  community and sharing an opening date, once confirmed.”

In celebration of each new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A donates $25,000 to Feeding America, and funds are then distributed to community partners to aid in the fight against hunger. Most Chick-fil-A restaurants also participate in the   Shared Table program, sharing surplus food with soup kitchens, shelters, food banks, and nonprofits in need.
