Garden Grove will be home to the newest branch of Taty’s Coffee and Tea, a Vietnamese coffeehouse, the OC Register reports. Located at 12201 Brookhurst St #B, this is the second location in the US for the brand that’s growing stateside.
The concept brings a rich variety of java options. Taty’s is best known for its House Milk Coffee — a creamy, nutty, and smooth version of authentic Vietnamese coffee — using condensed milk and a unique Phin Dripper method to enhance the flavor. Other crowd-pleasers include Egg Coffee, Charcoal Latte, Ube Latte, and Mint Latte.
Beyond its coffee, Taty’s offers an enticing selection of iced fruit teas, pure brewed teas, and milk teas, like the Peach Lemongrass Orange Tea and Pineapple Oolong Tea. Customers can also enjoy a variety of blended smoothies.
From Vietnam and known locally there as Café Tùng, Taty’s Coffee and Tea is a family business run by three generations. The company then expanded to America with a Westminster store.
Owner of the OC stores Vy Huynh tells What Now Media that the business’ goal is “to make coffee unlike anything Vietnamese people have tasted before.”
