Fogo de Chão, the renowned Brazilian steakhouse, is gearing up for a remodel of the outdoor patio at its Irvine location, records online show. At the Irvine Spectrum Center — 623 Spectrum Center Dr — the restaurant is a premier destination for an upscale meal.
Construction documents state the project is valued at approximately $650,000. The 1,386-square-foot patio, which has an occupancy limit of 74, will be renovated to better accommodate al fresco dining. Planned upgrades include the demolition of the current railing and overhead louver system, making way for a new glazing system and motorized awnings.
The project is currently in the bidding phase, with contractors submitting their proposals. Geoffrey B. Lim of Innovation & Design in Architecture, Inc. is overseeing the architectural aspects, renderings show.
This Irvine location is the first OC location for the chain, and features an open kitchen and a stylish bar area. The restaurant is known for its unique Churrasco dining experience, where guests enjoy continuous table-side service of fire-roasted meats, complemented by a robust selection of Brazilian side dishes and an all-day happy hour.
