Irvine Spectrum is about to bump up its options for fun with the introduction of a thrilling entertainment concept from Funlab, an Australian company known for its immersive and interactive experiences. The Hijinx Hotel is slated to open next year, according to Irvine Standard.

The Hijinx Hotel is set to make its U.S. debut at the Spectrum Center, promising a new kind of entertainment experience. It combines a grand, Art Deco-inspired hotel lobby with a series of immersive “challenge rooms”, each with a unique theme and interactive game.

The rooms include a variety of games, including puzzles, ball pits, and trick shots. Guests have four minutes in each of the 15 rooms to rack up points, with a leaderboard tracking their success.

Developed by Funlab, the Australian entertainment company, the brand has eight locations Down Under. It’s a sister concept to Holey Moley mini golf bar, which will also debut at the Spectrum. The two concepts are expected to share a space — reportedly the old Bristol Farms.
