According to a recent permit filing, Hawthorne Street Bar has filed for a new location at 4225 SE Hawthorne Boulevard.
A representative of Hawthorne Street Bar was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Portland’s request.
While an official opening date and what Hawthorne Street Bar plans to offer have yet to be confirmed, according to the permit, Hawthorne Street was filed for under Golden Hospitality Corporation.
Golden Hospitality Corporation was filed for on March 1st, 2024, according to Bizapedia. Damodar Seelam is listed as the business contact for the liquor licensing permit.
Hawthorne Street Bar’s planned days of operation will be every day from 9 AM to 11 PM with a seasonal variation. The bar will have the same days of operation and hours for the outdoor area, with food and alcohol service being listed as an option.
For the property itself, according to Loop Net, the space was built in 1922 with a rentable leasing area of 2,741 square feet. The lot is listed to be 10,000 square feet.
