Looking to slow down and relax? Sacramento residents will soon have a new getaway spot as restauranteur Ernesto Delgado plans to launch a new restaurant called Octopus Baja at 2731 K St. The new restaurant will feature the feeling of beautiful Baja, California, where seafood is plentiful and life is relaxed.
Ernesto Delgado is a passionate restauranteur and owner of Tequila Museo Mayahuel, La Cosecha Sacramento, and Mesa Mercado in Carmichael. For years, he has been amplifying the heartbeat of Mexican culture and cuisine.
Now, Delgado takes a slight detour into California’s own gem, Baja, with his new restaurant. Octopus Baja will feature an outdoor space in a converted parking lot for the perfect al fresco experience. The restaurant will also have ample indoor seating with a cevicheria, oyster bar, and a cafecita.
Octopus Baja is currently in the permitting process and awaits business license issuance. As of now, there is no update on when the restaurant may open. The restaurant is also one of the three latest restaurant concepts from Ernesto Delgado Hospitality Group.
Delgado did not reply to What Now Sacramento’s email for comments and detailed opening information by the time of this coverage.
