It has been over a year and a half since Kura Revolving Sushi leased Ste 140 at 250 Gibson Dr. in Highland Village in Roseville. Luckily for those with a special interest in revolving sushi, Kura is still on its way to Roseville: it’s the construction that’s taking longer than anticipated.

At the beginning of 2023, the site at 250 Gibson Dr. received conditional approval to begin phase 2 of construction during a public hearing with the Roseville Planning Committee. The phase includes the construction of a 6,800 sf building housing three tenants, one of them being Kura Revolving Sushi and the 3,000+ sqft space the restaurant had leased.

Fast forward to the end of the year, Roseville records indicate that construction is finally near complete. The sign for Kura Sushi went up back in August and the space is awaiting final review and approval for the fire sprinkler system. The liquor license is currently pending.

A representative from Kura Sushi cannot be reached by the time of this coverage. However, if all pieces move forward, Roseville residents can expect the fun and much anticipated revolving sushi to open its doors in Spring 2024.
