Earlier this year, multi-unit franchisee Ray Libang signed an agreement with popular Mexican fast-casual restaurant chain, Roll Em Up Taquitos, to open up the Sacramento market. Now, the first Roll Em Up Taquitos at 920 Pleasant Grove Blvd, Ste 180 is almost done with construction and is most likely to open in the first half of 2024.
City records indicate the construction of the first Roll Em Up Taquitos has entered final stages and all permits have been issued. The Southern California fast-casual chain features fresh taquitos made daily with beef, chicken, or cheese. The menu also has a few crowd-favorite side items such as the BOMB AF Chips and classic Mexican street corn.
The chain announced expansion plans in California and other states this summer. Local franchisees Ray and Leilani Libang will be operating five units in Sacramento, five units in San Jose, CA, and five units in Orange County. Both Ray and Leilani are experienced multi-unit entrepreneurs as they also own five nursing homes across Orange County.
By the time of this coverage, Ray Libang had not provided any additional information on future Sacramento stores. At the moment, the Roseville location is not yet listed on the franchise’s website as an upcoming location.
