A new dining concept called Society Bistro appears to be under construction at 1330 O St in Sacramento. The bistro and cafe is anticipated to open in the first half of 2024.

Society Bistro is the new cafe concept powered by healthy food entrepreneur Nubia Murillo, who previously founded Toasted, a cafe featuring various loaded gourmet toasts, salads, and other healthy lunch options. While Toasted is now closed, those enjoying the refreshing, creative meal options will find familiar flavors and styles at the upcoming Society Bistro. Murillo also owns Cap City Squeeze Juice Bar, a fresh-squeeze juice kitchen and acai bowl hotspot at 1426 14th St.

Society Bistro started construction in mid-July, working with Sacramento-based hospitality design studio Brass Rose Studio. The new space will feature a clean and refreshing look with indoor plants, various types of seating options, and a condiments station. What Now Sacramento reached out to Murillo for comments, but hasn’t heard back by the time of this coverage.
