We recently reported on Habit Burger joining Sac State’s food hall. The quick-service burger chain is also working on another location in The Shops at Folsom Ranch, according to leasing materials. The Shops is part of a master-planned development in Folsom with new homes, retail projects, medical developments, and a sports complex. The Shops is located at along East Bidwell Street just south of the Highway 50 interchange.
With roots in Santa Barbara, Habit Burger is owned by Yum Brands Inc. (NYSE: YUM). Habit Burger will occupy a 2,800-square-foot building in The Shops. The location is anticipated in the spring of 2024. The chain also has several other locations in the Sacramento area, including one existing site in Folsom. The Shops location will be the chain’s second Folsom restaurant instead of a relocation of the existing one.
Other tenants at The Shops at Folsom Ranch include Slice House, Capriotti’s Sandwich, and Bento Box. The Shops will also has a Starbucks planned. According to leasing materials, the center is almost fully leased, with just one vacancy of 1,800 square feet. In addition to eateries, Chevron, Nail Resort, and Family Pet Hospital are also lined up for the center.
