The Jacquelyn, an artist-led upscale social club, is opening a new Mediterranean eatery and wine lounge called The Cellar at 1114 22nd Street. Permits were issued last October, and the space is currently under construction. The Jacquelyn announced on its website The Cellar is anticipated to open this spring.

The Jacquelyn, inspired by the late artist Jacquelyn Anderson, is a curated space elevating community, creativity, and wellness. The brand currently operates two membership-only private clubs: Shutter Club and Blue J.

The same team behind the Michelin Guide-recognized Tarla Grill in Napa and Jayna Gyro of East Sacramento and Emeryville operates the upcoming new concept. The Cellar will offer “hand-crafted cocktails, mocktails, and a curated list of wines complement the fresh Mediterranean-inspired menu constructed,” according to the website.

Once up and running, The Cellar will be open from the afternoon into nighttime Monday through Friday. Situated inside Jacquelyn’s famous historical building on 22nd Street, The Cellar continues the company’s core philosophy of nutritious and delicious eating and focuses on building the community.
