Dutch Bros, an Oregon-based coffee chain, is rapidly expanding through Northern California. We recently reported a new Rutch Bros kiosk is coming to Roseville. Now, operated by a different franchisee, another kiosk location in Fair Oaks has been confirmed.

Local franchisee Steve Grubbs is working on opening a new Dutch Bros kiosk at a former Scooter’s Coffee space in Fair Oaks at 7904 Winding Way with his wife, Nikol Grubbs. This will be the franchisee’s second Fair Oaks location and seventh area site. The new location is anticipated to open by the end of this year, if not sooner.

The upcoming Fair Oaks location on Winding Way is in a center’s parking lot at Sunrise Boulevard and Winding Way. Other businesses in the center include Lifestyle Gym, Taco Bell and Scandinavian Designs, whose building was recently listed for lease. The upcoming location will feature a single-lane drive-thru and a 500-square-foot kiosk. Grubbs expects to submit plans for county review within the next month.

“We’ve wanted to establish a second Fair Oaks location south of Madison Avenue for the past few years,” said Grubbs, who opened his first Fair Oaks location at 8552 Madison Ave in 2013.
