Tso Chinese, the popular Austin-based fast casual Chinese restaurant, is eyeing a Round Rock location, according to a recent report in Community Impact. The restaurant is set to be located at 2000 N Mays St, near eateries such as Kerbey Lane Cafe and P Terry’s.
Known for its quick delivery or takeout options and its unique “no tipping” concept, Tso has staked its position as a quick, modern, yet classic Chinese concept that, with its new outpost, plans to reach a massive range of central Texas towns such as Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park, Pflugerville and, of course, Austin.
What Now Austin reached out to the company co-founder, Jenna Choe, to inquire about the potential opening dates and any other changes that will be made at the upcoming location, but she was did not return requests for comment by time of publication.
Without a hard date set, readers can assume that the “early 2023” opening period listing on the website means that the location should be up and running in the coming months.
Until the restaurant opens, readers may visit the original location in the Cherrywood neighborhood, at 3909 N Interstate 35.
