Houston-based Shipley Do-Nuts is planning to add more shops across the Austin area, according to recent reporting in ABJ.

“Our goal is to be substantially faster than the industry standard 12-month timeline from signing to cash registers ringing,” Keith Sizemore, senior vice president of franchise development, said in an announcement. “We have a robust development pipeline, and we want to help our franchisees get their shops open faster so they can quickly realize the power and potential of our growing brand.”

Founded by Lawrence Shipley in Houston, Shipley Do-Nuts has expanded throughout the United States, with notable concentrations in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi. Apart from donuts, the chain serves cinnamon rolls, creme-filled bars and donut holes, cake, coffee and kolaches.

No opening dates are confirmed yet, but Shipley anticipates the new locations will begin opening in 2025.
