Good news for fans of Doghouse and The Soda Fountain on Edgewater Drive in Orlando. Owner Carlos Aguilera is opening a second location at 4550 E. Michigan Street and calling it Doghouse & Soda Fountain. The 900 square-foot space is located in Mariner’s Village and will have the same menu with a few different specialty items.

While the original location divided the two business into neighboring stores, Doghouse & Soda Fountain will be one business under the same roof. Featuring Crazy Dogs–hotdogs customers can dress with 20 topping choices, loaded tots, corn dogs, and more, Doghouse & Soda Fountain is kid-and-family friendly.

For the sweet tooth, customers enjoy hand-dipped scoops of ice cream in a cup or a cone, banana splits, milkshakes, floats, and sundaes like The Elvis, which is made with chocolate ice cream, Nutella, candied bacon, caramel, and peanut butter sauce. For a lighter treat, try a sorbet spritzer or egg creams.

The over-21 crowd can find adult milkshakes like Key Lime Pie, which blends white rum, vanilla ice cream, margarita mix, and pie crumbles. A variety of other beverages including fountain drinks, beer, coffee, and hot chocolate are available as well.

Doghouse & Soda Fountain will bring the fun to you in the shape of a bicycle cart that serves up double scoops of ice cream, floats, or a sundae bar at your event or birthday party.

Aguilera takes possession of the new property on September 1 and has plans to tentatively open in November 2021.
