Mochibae, a new locally-owned Asian food concept, will soon be opening two locations in Orlando, according to a recent report in The Orlando Business Journal. The restaurants will be located at 11565 University Blvd and the other, 15 minutes away, on East Colonial Dr

“My partner and I own Happy Lemon which is two units down from this plaza. When this space became available we thought we should open another business nearby,” co-owner and partner Thanh Tran tells What Now Orlando.

“Regarding the East Colonial location, we are expecting to open a double concept there, featuring both a Happy Lemon and a Mochibae in the same space.”

Responding to the question of whether the concept will serve more than hot dogs and donuts, Tran is excited to mention its unique beverages.

“We will have some exotic drinks such as Vietnamese egg coffee and coconut coffee,”

When asked about potential opening dates, Tran gives a clear timeline.

“The first one is expected to open in the upcoming month and the second in about four months.”
