Cozy Ice Cream, a new, locally-owned ice cream shop, is soon coming to Daytona Beach, according to recent public records. The shop will be located at 167 S Atlantic Avenue, next to Bread & Bubble Tea and the coastline with the Atlantic Ocean itself.

What Now Orlando recently contacted owner Jane Nguyen Rozi who confirmed the details listed above but chose not to engage with further questions. No official website or social media yet exist for the upcoming eatery and it is not clear when readers can expect the establishment to be up and running.

However, one key detail can illuminate the situation and set reasonable expectations for curious readers: locals may recognize that Cozy will soon be occupying the space of the former Tasty’s Ice Cream, a popular ice cream shop praised for its great-tasting ice cream and pet-friendliness.

While it is not yet clear what will change and what will stay the same, beachside ice cream in Daytona Beach will soon be back in town. What Now Orlando will update this story as soon as more information is readily available.
