The popular vegan establishment Valhalla Bakery will soon be leaving its Market on South outpost and head to the new Cheney Collective, located at 5565 Old Cheney Highway, in a space formerly known as Fort Pitt, according to a recent report in Orlando Weekly.

“The infrastructure in the old space was not able to stand up to what we need to be able to grow,” owner Celine Beltgens tells What Now Orlando. “It was time to create a more viable space to serve our customers a better product and a better offering of our products.”

When asked what will change at their upcoming home, Beltgens describes a beefing-up.

“We will be doubling our offerings with our full savory program, a wider array of sweet and revamping our shipping.”

And when can readers expect the Cheney Collective outpost to open?

“Hopefully soon,” Beltgens says. “It’s already 16 months behind.”

Readers unfamiliar with Valhalla and their mission can refer to the bakery’s own mission statement, straight from their official website:

“We search out the best ingredients, and make sure that we know what is in everything so you can rest assured that your favorite desserts remain egg-free and dairy-free, as well as Vegan-approved.”
