Dharma Southern Chick’n, a spinoff of the Dharma Southern Kitchen of the soon-to-close Market on South facility, is soon coming to the new The Cheney Collective food hall 5565 Old Cheney Highway,  according to a recent report in Orlando Weekly

If the newest establishment is anything like its predecessor, readers can reasonably expect a plant-based eatery focused on fresh iterations of southern dishes. Dharma Southern Kitchen featured classic offerings such as pulled jackfruit BBQ sandwiches, chick’n tenders, po’boys, and chilli dogs.

Readers unfamiliar with owner and chef Shaun Noonan’s adventurous, ambitious vegan cuisine can find themselves informed by a 2018 interview with Orlando Weekly in which he said:

“If anything, relevance comes by looking at the current trends and doing the polar opposite. Respect your food, respect your staff, respect your customers and the rest comes naturally.”

What Now Orlando briefly reached Mr. Noonan who informed us that he was not yet at the stage to release information about this exciting new development. As soon as such details are available, this story will be updated accordingly.
